Disaster the personnel steals your properties. broken furniture everywhere. rooms closed becouse of bugs. 22h they shout off the tv and send everybody out of common space becouse neighbours are complaining. dogs and chicken neighbours dont let you sleep in the mornin. personnel is illegaly employed foreigners (from russia and neetherlands) becouse the owners, two frustrated ugly persons, can not found brasilians working for them, so they find russian illegal immigrant (she is so arogant that she could be in wikipedia for illustration of whe words AROGANCY and ANTIPATIC). Dirty, smells like Chernobil nuclear disaster. Showers without hot water. I traveled around the globe changing aprox 150 hostels, this one was the worst. I will never forget this experience. — Anonymous , slovak (2010-12-21)

Ehh, it was ok This hostel was average. We got robbed and they were very helpful telling us how to get to the police station, and they even lent us some money when we were short on cash, but we had ants in our room. Breakfast is excellent, but it's a long walk to the beach. All in all an equal balance of pros and cons. — TheBenard , USA (2007-05-26)

Like always, the people make the hostel and that definitely counts for this hostel. Adriana and Tina were great and we had a good laugh with Tony. The hostel is not far from the beach and they organise good parties but you can also relax in the big room with TV and a pool table.
Go there and have fun, you won't regret it. — Pieter, Amsterdam (2006-05-25)

We really enjoyed our week long stay in this hostel. The layout of the whole place really make you socialize and their common area is very nice. In addition, the building itself is very interesting and include some great balconies that are fun to hang out in. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommended! Be prepared to do a bit of climbing to get there as the street is very very steep and most taxis will stop at the bottom of the road (not a major concern). — Tamar (2006-05-08)

We stayed in this hostel back in July 2003 - We loved it. Definitely a home from home. It's the best hostel we have stayed in so far, and God knows we have been to so many - thank you Adriana and Tina!! — Vickie & Spencer (2004-03-24)
