Great hostel! The rooms are big and very clean. You can buy your morning coffee on the machine, that's appreciated. People are very nice and the hostel is very near the center of Salerno. Thank you very much for looking after us!! — Raquel Utrera , Spain (2011-06-26)

I stayed at this hostel in May 2005 and of the two weeks I spent in Italy, this was the best. The hostel was pretty much empty -- my girlfriend and I had a room with sixteen beds all too are ourselves. It was in a great location in Cava which was my favourite city in all of Italy -- very few tourists and lots to do. The hostel was just steps away from the main "via". The hostel provided a tour van to Pompeii and public transit stops pretty much at the doorstep. Staff here are not as well versed in English as elsewhere in Italy but that adds to the fun. I would stay here again though in the busy season, it may not be the best. — Dylan (2006-03-08)
Adequate for short cheap stay, particularly for students. It has dormitory-style rooms of 20 or more bunk beds. Don't expect any privacy. Sheets provided, but NO towels, soap or toilet paper. Be prepared to bring all your own toiletries. The shower room has six stalls and inadequate shower curtains. There are several armoires in rooms that apparently lock. The unpleasant smell inside each was musty and mildewy. I would not use it to store anything of value (like your clothes). There is no air conditioner and no screens on the windows. The heat and mosquitoes are a problem in summer. Breakfast consisted of one semi-jam-filled croissant and machine-dispensed coffee. There are vending machines in the main entry with a very limited supply of drinks and snacks. The little café a few doors down from the hostel was excellent, great pasta, wine etc. There is a nice town plaza for walking. — Anonymous (2005-07-12)

This hostel was a 16th-century convent that had been converted to a hostel. It had a lift which was great for me and my big suitcase. The hostel was very clean. The problem was that I wanted towels, but somehow that didn't translate and I didn't get to rent any. Also, there was no soap in the bathroom, nor was there any toilet paper! The town was lovely, though. — Anonymous (2004-06-12)

Great accomodation 10 minutes from Costiera Amalfitana! The hostel was very clean and the rooms were very BIG! The bathrooms were very clean too. — Anonymous (2003-08-28)
