The auberge 'La Bâtise' opened on July 1st 2000.
This stone building, built between 1795 and 1796, was bought by the local council about ten years before its redevelopment.
Thanks to funding from jubilee 2000 and from the local council of Bionaz, it could be completely restored and can now accommodate 39 people.
You will be put up in one of the rooms with 2,4 or 6 beds or in the dormitory with 12 beds.
You will be allowed to use the fitted kitchen to prepare your evening meal, if you do not want to eat out in the village.
You can also use the Internet to stay in touch with your relatives and friends.
The car park is opposite. You will enjoy the quiet of the place in the garden or on the balcony.
The auberge is accessible to the disabled people.
Please note, if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of €3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays.
Please note for the Italian Citizen with residence in Italy you have to pay an annual YHA card:
under 18 year old=> 9 Euro
between 18 and 26 year old=> 13 Euro
over 26 year old => 17 euro
