Ancona hostel is located extremely close to the main train station and is literally a two-minute walk away. To get there, simply cross the street from the main entrance of the train station, heading left past a few restaurants and a hotel. You will then see a sign for the hostel; turn right up on the street called “Lamaticci” and the hotel is located on your right.
The hostel has many rooms, and the dorms are fine although basic. The rooms are equipped with four beds and a cabinet to hold clothes, which also has extra sheets. The bathrooms and showers are located on each floor, and they work fine with no problems. There is also a dining area on the first floor, equipped with a kitchen and some tables for eating and socializing
The location of the hostel is excellent, as it is right near the train station, where the "1/4" bus to the port runs. This is extremely convenient for people who plan on purchasing their ferry tickets to Greece and elsewhere. Many points of interest are located very close by from there onwards.
In short, the hostel isn’t exactly a beauty queen, but it gets the job done. Cheap, good location, and easy to get to -- that's basically it.
