An expertly run hostel with a desirable mix of rustic and modern. The family who runs it were gracious, even though we felt we were imposing. Located at the centre of the sprawling village. Terrific location for hiking. I'm already planning a future visit. For anyone who wants to shower every morning during the high season, you may be in for a wait for the mens or womens facility (as each has combined one shower and one toilet).

The kitchen here was wonderful and everything was very clean. Though it is all the way on top of the mountain and a little less than an hour bus ride away from everything, it is worth it. It is cheap, quiet, beautiful, and has an amazing view over the ocean. There are markets nearby, a posta, and the bus stop is literally in front of it. Very nice staff and a lot of little dogs. :O)
