Ok but a bit pricy the man running the hostel was really nice. We were there in late june and were almost the only guests of the hostel (just one lady from italy) so we practically had the hostel all for ourselves. So we got our own room. Each room has bunk beds (four) and a private bathroom, so that's excellent. great view also -- mountain view. The surroundings are also very nice -- Barga is great! The hostel has no cooking facilities unfortunately and you could get a meal at the hostel, but mostly it's around 10, which would be ok, but if you're trying for a low budget vacation it doesn't really help. breakfast was ok, old bread slices (so put on extra jam) jam, cereal with milk, and a cup of tea or coffee. it was 20 euro for a night so not really low budget compared to other hostels. But I can imagine it is pretty cheap in winter if you're coming here to spend your winter holiday for snowboarding and all. but for the summer, a bit pricey — marjan , holland (2007-07-27)
