5 Wow!
this place is a godsend for hardened hostelers! The rooms are exquisite -- antique furniture and fittings, and lovely large rooms (only gripe was that we were a little cold as they hadn't switched the heating on yet). A sumptuous treat of a house, with plants dotted round and a nice little kitchen too -- the manageress chattered away to us, and was really friendly. The cafe downstairs is an experience in itself -- Bohemian and atmospheric -- a classic. Hard to believe that this place calls itself a hostel really -- it's a real treat.

2 The house is really better than the staff, sometimes arrogant.
Good location and very nice old fashion house with quality furniture .... BUT: The staff is not so friendly and helpful, sometimes the client can have the impression he is disturbing them. To feel really comfortable in a place the professional (and human) qualities of the staff are very important because one house is first made by and for people. And what to think about the Mleczarnia cafe just down the hostel that takes you 3 Zlotys (1 Euro) for a glass of tap water? It's my first time in Poland.
