Very nice place to stay I was there in 2004. I hope that Fernando is still there, he is a very unique person. The location of the hostel is excellent, the attendants were very friendly. My trip would not be the same if I was somewhere else. I have to agree that the bathrooms could be better!!! Enjoyed my lengthy stay here in the summer of 2001. Friendly, ultra-warm, and caring staff from the second I stepped in. Rooms were comfortable and overall, the place had its own character. Loved the kitchen and dining room where we spend unforgettable evenings and nights. People from all over the world. Not too many finnish had been there, though, so I guess me and my friend were as exotic to the locals and the other south americans than they were to us. It's really laid back and check out isn't until 2pm which is great if, like me, you plan on going out every night until you leave!!
