Buenas Nuevas is one of the only accommodations in town with a full kitchen. I lived there for two months and the family that runs the hostel, David and Lola, are a lovely couple and work very hard to maintain their property. The rooms are cleaned regularly and the rooftop area has a great view of town - excellent for a morning tea and late night hangouts. — Gabby (2004-01-29) Buenas Nuevas is clean and well kept, also relatively expensive when compared to the hotel San Francisco or Tikaaj. This is the end of town you want to be in though - since I was first here five years ago the Pana dock area has grown massively and with it the problems - we have heard so many horror stories (stabbing/mugging/Police planting drugs) it just doesn't seem worth the risk - especially at night. — Lucy (2004-01-28)
