The GoNorth Alaska Adventure Travel Center is located on a wooded park-like property a short distance from Fairbanks' important shopping centers and the Airport. Accommodations are in roomy tent-cabins, with the living area, showers, toilets, and kitchen facilities all located in our central Pavilion building. We offer outdoor equipment rentals, including canoes, folding canoes, bikes, mountain bikes, tents, sleeping bags, emergency locator transmitters, satellite phones, camp stoves, etc. We also offer air taxi booking services, train and ferry reservations, and a broad spectrum of other travel services.

Location	We are located on Davis Road, near the corner of University Avenue. From the main terminal take Airport Way into town. Drive under the highway underpass, and do not exit. At the second stoplight, take a right onto University Avenue. Go through one stoplight, and about 1/2 mile later turn left onto Davis Road. The GoNorth Center is located on the right side of Davis on the first block.

I would actually consider giving this place five stars, but I know I'm a hostel snob and I love a free breakfast and showers. ;) This is a very cool place with neat heated "tents" to sleep in, a nice kitchen area, and very helpful Swiss folks who own the place. We would definitely stay here again. It is a little close to the road so it's a bit noisy when the traffic kicks up, but they do a great job of making you think you're in the boonies.
