Punta Brava Lodge is Horrible Punta Brava Lodge is Horrible. My girlfriend and I checked in late in the afternoon. When we went into the room, the bed sheets were dirty and smelled like moldy body odor. The bathroom was very dirty with lots of insects like lizards, roaches, mosquitoes, and we even saw a scorpion in the room under the bed. The air conditioner was broken. The internet did not work. They promised food but did not have any. We paid for three nights in advance. My girlfriend demanded that we change hotels, so I asked for a refund, but the owner refused to refund our money. He was very unprofessional. I would never stay there or recommend anyone to stay there. — Luis Miguel , USA (2008-12-23)
Punta Brava Lodge is terrible I spent ten days in Santa Catalina. We bought an all inclusive tour that included food, but the food was terrible and the chef said that the owner, Jose Crespo, was to blame because he let all the food go bad in the hot car, so they had very little food. We asked Jose Crespo for a refund for the food, but he laughed in our face, so we were forced to spend more money eating at Biancas restaurant, which was very good. The rooms at Punta Brava Lodge were very dirty, musty sheets, roaches and spiders everywhere, the hot water did not work, the air conditioner was broken, the internet did not work, and the power went out on a regular basis. I will go back to Santa Catalina next year for the surfing, diving, and fishing, but I will stay somewhere else. — Chris Gallager , USA (2008-11-21)
