Not What Is Described Buyer Beware! The description is seriously outdated. As of August '11 there is no kitchen, no breakfast, no hammocks, no bicycle rental, no hot showers. In fact, what you get for the money (100 pesos per night) is a bed in a stuffy, poorly ventilated dorm not more than 50 meters from the beach. If that is ok with you, then go for it. Just don't expect anything else, including any caring staff or customer service. — The Nomad , USA (2011-08-23)

It's a nice place. So quiet and really nice!! They have a cyber cafe that is a great place, and they have delicious coffee!! And the breakfast is cheap and it's very good. The marmalade is homemade and it's wonderful!!! — Scott (2005-03-01)

I was in the hostel and I had a nice time. We met some friends there. The place is safe, clean and comfortable. Marco (the owner) was very kind and he gave us a lot of information about Celestun. The Internet and coffee service was excellent!! It is cheap and fast. Really I had a nice time in Celestun!! — Eduardo (2005-02-08)
