Set in the shadow of the Benwiskin Mountain, part of the Dartry Mountain range, with the sea a short distance away, the Benwiskin Centre invites you to come and experience the beauty of North Sligo.
Are you looking for an ideal base to explore the North West? Well The Benwiskin Centre might just be what you are looking for! The Benwiskin Centre is a 28 bed self-catering Accommodation Centre in a rural setting in a village called Ballintrillick, which is in North County Sligo.
The Centre sleeps 28 and consists of 6 bedrooms. (2 family rooms with a double bed and a set of bunkbeds, 3 rooms with a set of bunbeds and 2 single beds, 1 mixed dormer room with 4 sets of bunkbeds. Additional fold up beds availbale on request. A cot is available on request. The whole Centre can be booked out for large groups. All rooms have ensuite facilities and all duvets and bed linen are provided.
You will share with other guests a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and a large common room area with TV and video, open fire and library. For a longer stay you can use our laundry facilities as well. When our previous guests have got hungry some use our kitchen, some use our bar-b-q and eat in the picnic area, but quite a few choose from the wide range of restaurants within a 10-mile radius, there's something to suit all budgets and tastes.
How would you like to spend your day! How about going to the Beach, choose from Mullaghmore, Rossnowlagh, Bundoran, or Streedagh. How about a bit of history and visit Yeat's Grave in Drumcliffe or Lissadell house? Maybe walking or cycling.
The children could go to the cinema, or to the amusements, horse riding, cycling, walking or swimming. Maybe Mum & Dad want to go shopping, choose from Sligo Town, Donegal Town, or go over the border to Enniskillen, for a wide range of shops, or play golf locally.
