Never again! Never again! I travel a lot but this is the poorest hostel I have ever been. The bathrooms are mold-infested, you have to share the rooms with a lot of mice, they party all night without regard to the guests, and the rooms are not clean and comfortable! It's more like a pigpen! The only good thing of the hostel is the great view from the roof and the near to the fifth avenue. But I just can advise you to take another hostel if you want to stay in NYC like I will do next time! — Gerii , German (2008-11-17)
Very poor hostel. The hostels has mice, very few lights in the bedrooms, security is an issue. Noise level is bad. Signs say no smoking but the smokers smoked much to the lungs of non-smokers. They party all night so if you want to sleep, forget about staying at this hostel. Abbey, the owner, spammed my email twelve times. I had to finally put a block on my email to prevent this from continuing. This looked more like a flophouse then a hostel. Several of the floppies hit on the girls. The hostel needs to get their act together if they want to be called a hostel. I would recommend another hostel when staying in N.Y.C. — DLB , United States (2007-12-13)

Great location, clean and comfortable I spent a couple of nights at this place. The bathrooms are clean and the appliances are modern. Very artsy, fun, and laid back. There are computers with Internet access if you need to catch up and nearby Bryant Park has free wi-fi (thanks to Google) if you're bringing your laptop. — Joe , USA (2007-10-17)

Excellent This hostel is excellent, clean, and very comfortable. Abey, the owner, is very helpful and nice. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to stay in Midtown. It's wrongly labeled as upper west side, but it really is midtown west. There is roof access at this hostel with a great view. — Julie , USA (2007-07-05)

Very Comfortable We spent very good time there, and Abey, the owner, is very kind and helpful. The location is great! In our way back to NYC, of course we are staying there again! — Mariana , Argentina (2007-05-29)

Avi was amazing. The hostel is very artsy and comfortable with the multiple common rooms and kitchen. I was so pleased and had such a wonderful time there. I will surely be back! — Jess , American (2007-04-16)

it was a real cool place to hang out. the people there are great and there is no way you can go wrong for what you pay. it's close to everything. you just can't beat the location. if you are in new york and not much money to spend this has got to be the spot. — richie rich , usa (2007-03-26)
