I've been in worse — but not in South Africa. This place is dirty, dodgy and depressing. Had it not been for its proximity to the university I would have stayed elsewhere. It's not to be recommended. — XV Pilot (2005-02-27) I used to live and work at this place and I know the Irish owner. He is actually very nice. And the dogs make up for it. This place is safer than ninety percent of other Pretoria hostels due to its location and security measures. It's also closest to Loftus rugby stadium — it's just round corner! :) And it does have a kitchen and little lockers for rent for stuff like passports. — Sonja (2005-01-31) There are much better places to stay in Pretoria. In fact, we moved away from this place after a couple of days. The management is not nice at all. There's cheating in the prices. (Every person pays differently for many different reasons.
