Worst hostel we've visited in Argentina This hostel was recommended in our guide book, but was a huge disappointment. The kitchen was disgusting. a swarm of fruit flies hovered in the kitchen and on the counters and everything looked dirty. We wouldn't even eat the free breakfast because of the condition of the kitchen. Our room was dirty (hairs on the floor and in the bathroom) and it smelled awful. We actually kept our bathroom door shut because a sewage smell was coming from it. Yuck! We ended up moving to a different hostel because this one was too dirty and smelly. A few positives -- nice owner, good location on outskirts of downtown, right next to big grocery store (if you dare to cook in the kitchen). Also it wasn't loud and the outdoor courtyard was very nice. — Anonymous , Canada (2011-04-01) Very friendly Very nice place to stay; a safe place at the centre of Mendoza, close to a beautiful park, supermarket en central plaza.
