1 A joke
The staff are an absolute nightmare! we came to this hostel for Hogmany as a group of thirty but had to go out in Fort William to avoid the tension and bad atmosphere between us and the staff. They are obsessed with making money and so lied to us about the bars and taxis in Fort William in order to prevent us from going out. In the end we got chucked out because the fire alarm went off! Nothing to do with us and clearly not a big deal but we were kicked out with nowhere to go and the evening ended in slight violence because the owners wouldn't even allow us to get our suitcases. A joke of a place!

1 Think the new owners shouldn't be running a hostel. I have come here for years and certainly won't be back like many others that i have known who have said exactly the same. There is one person who is really friendly and helpful but the management is an absolute joke!

1 Under new management...I am afraid to say that I was not impressed with the attitude of the owners who have apparently just bought the place. Nice building but poor attitude to guests. I won't be back again.

4 I had a very brief visit, to say the least. Stuart was only in for about 30 seconds and that was that. To be honest, for someone who has a legendary reputation, my contention was purely personal. The food is great, and the staff are great--very clean and professional. Highly recomended. Best Hostel in the UK by far, if not the planet.
