The Hostelz.com Review
Hotel Central Station is a nice little place, and very easy to find.
The Location
It is located right next to the Central train station and there also are many trolleys to catch to get around. A few restaurants are close by, within walking distance but we would recommend going to other areas of Milan to eat. It is a little crowded with tourists getting to and from the station with their luggage and several cars and taxis driving fast around you.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The room is small but clean and with very tall ceilings. A nice bathroom including bidet is a good surprise. We don't remember having air conditioning, as the windows are always open to cool down the room. At night when it is quiet, it is comfortable.
Common Spaces
The common area is small but roomy. There is one computer for internet access; a refrigerator that offers water, coke, or some beers; a small bar with a few bottles; and a room to sit and eat or drink with a TV. The front desk person is also your bartender.
Summary
Overall, this place is a good little place to stay. It's close to transportation (which is very important) and it is just the right size for two people. The employees are very nice and helpful, and speak English just fine. If there is one drawback, there are a lot of people with their luggage and cars going to and from the station in rush to catch their trains and it sometimes becomes a dangerous situation.

Good for a hotel It's not a hostel but a hotel with some dorm room. You won't find any social life here, period. You won't even get the dorm if you don't have a reservation. But I quite liked it as a hotel -- clean sizeable rooms, free open Wi-Fi in lobby, and big ass mirrors everywhere. Their hotel rooms are 60 euros per night, which seems quite high. Try it if you need a "hotel break" from hosteling or don't plan on seeing much in Milan -- or just have tons of luggage. — Jeff , USA (2007-11-18)
