Five adjacent Independent hostels on a 12 acre croft on the west coast of Skye with panoramic views over the sea and mountains. They provide comfortable, fully equipped and inexpensive self-catering accommodation, in an ideal location for all outdoor activities.

| Location | The Croft Bunkhouse & Bothies are situated on the west coast of Skye at Portnalong on the B8009 road 3 miles (5km) from the Talisker Distillery and 800m from Portnalong pier. Portnalong is a pleasant, quiet crofting area with enjoyable coastal and moorland walks nearby. The hostels are 500m from the pub and 600m from the shop. The Cuillins are only 20 minutes drive away to either Glenbrittle or Sligachan. |

Bloody brilliant...my sister & I stayed here for a few nights whilst waiting for a new job to come through - we stayed in the bothy and had it all to ourselves - our own wee cottage for about 6quid a night! Fantastic, and the owner is lovely (check out her artwork!) We also stayed in the bunkhouse, which was a little TOO cosy (we had to share a bed with a whole other family!) but it's all good... — Hector (2006-06-07) I planned to stay for 2 nights, but ended up there for a week! It's in a brill location to explore Skye, and there's a good pub just up the road. The owner gave useful tips regarding local walks and places to see. The hostel itself was clean and cosy.
