Home from home
Very friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere, spotlessly clean bathrooms and kitchen. free internet, games room with pool table, ps2, music, entertaining guests, never a dull moment. I have stopped at other hostels in nottingham and this is the only one worth writing a review about.

Very nice hostel
Very nice stay, friendly staff, nice big kitchen, and great location. Of the three hostels in Nottingham I thought this was the best. The staff helped us with things to do in Nottingham and area. a couple of days is not really enough. The rooms are nice and clean as are all common areas. I would rate this hostel as very good. A perfect place to stay when visiting Nottingham.

Better than expected.
I have to say it was one of the friendliest that i have been to in some time. The staff were fantastic and made you feel very welcome indeed. The beds were decent enough and the kitchen was always clean. There was free tea and coffee and people made an effort to be friendly too. My only gripe was the 3 O'clock curfew, which wasn't necessary.

Within handy walking distance from the city center, this very simple hostel offers little besides a bed and a decently clean bathroom (well, a friendly staff should be acknowledged too). Not a single hook for clothes in a room for eight occupants (or was it ten?) suggests that this is not a great stay after a humid and cold autumn evening out.

The Igloo is the most horrible place I have ever stayed. Everybody who is sensitive to smells should not book this hostel. Free car parking is provided if that means you have to park your car on the street and pay 130 £ to the police to get your car out of the car pound.

Very cheap and cheerful... a great place to stay if you just want to get your head down after a night out. The bed linen and amenities are clean, and the people are friendly, what more can you ask for for the price you pay.
