Good hostel. Very friendly, well equipped, has that small community feel that you don't get with the big hostels in London. Very close to city centre. One or two gripes though -- there are a few two many long termers (mostly brits),and the owner Caroline can be a bit abrupt. However ignore these and a fun time to be had especially as there are lots of jobs for backpackers in Exeter.

Great place! This website says there's no availability. The fact is they don't take bookings through booking engines. Get in touch direct if you want to stay.

Excellent Place to stay would Highly reccommend to any backpacker. We stayed their 4 years ago and made some excellent mates along the way to this day we still talk about the great times had in this Back Packers. Hopefully we will return again to see if our Australia sock is still hanging on the wall

Great place!!! The building is a little rundown, but the staff are excellent, extremely friendly and know how to throw a party!!! If you want to party this is the place to go!

This hostel is possibly the nicest you can find! Great staff!!! And nice dormitories and bathrooms. In the center, brillant place! I stayed there for 2 months and I am definitely going back one day!

Great hostel! I spent 3 months in that wonderful backpackers and it was fantastic! Good staff and nice looking dormitories! Exeter Backpackers, miss it, miss out! :-)
