The Hostelz.com Review
Anzac House is used by many tour operators for day trips to Gallipoli. This hostel is very clean and well looked after. It's close to transport (the bus and ferry links are about 2 minutes walk) and also close to local shops.
There isn't a lot to do in Canakkale town. But internet access is provided by the hostel at US$1, but it's a bit slow and the computer screens are not very good. For better access, find a local internet cafe.
Security is good, everyone has their own room key, and safety deposit boxes are provided free. The bathrooms are very clean, the lights all work, and there are big mirrors. Dorm rooms are good, sleeping four people and are clean.
The hostel is connected to a tour company, so the information that they give you tends to be bias to getting your onto one of their tours, so be aware of some bias. The staff were however friendly, and the tours they provide are pretty good.

Really nice staff here. The bathrooms and beds are pretty decent too. Good place to stay, really helpful staff who like to joke around and have fun! — Anon (2006-09-24)

Quiet, cozy, clean and the staff are friendly. They are used to seeing Australian's like myself and welcome everyone. If you're going to see Gallipoli (Galibolu) the hostel is literally down the road from the ferry terminal that takes you to Eceabat.
