Disgraceful Possibly the worst place I have ever seen in my life. The baldy guy who runs it is the creepiest, smelliest man I have ever come across. We stayed about 30 minutes and decided to head off due to the conditions. 4 of us were expected to sleep on bunkbeds that looked as if they had been built by Ray Charles. The room smelled like piss and the rules the guy had were ridiculous. If you stepped in dog sh*t and came back to the hostel it was a $150 fine. The baldy guy who runs it was the rudest man of all time and one of our party had an argument with him for nearly an hour because he wouldn't refund our money. I'm fairly sure this place is a safehouse for crackheads because there were some shady people knocking around inside. Eventually we got our money back and stayed in a hotel in town for only a couple of dollars more. Do not stay here because it is the worst place I have ever seen. F*** you Yves -- you're a baldy f***er and you have a bang of piss off you. — Yves Irish friends , Ireland (2011-04-21) Do not stay here! It really is not a deal over the other hostels in any way. I have stayed in a number of hostels and this is the second worst hostel in which I have ever stayed. The location is terrible -- the street does not feel safe. When we pulled up to the hostel there were no outside signs indicating that it was anything more than some dude's (named Yves) apartment. We started out by discovering that he gave our room away to someone who came the night before and had to choose a different room, unless we wanted him to tell the other person to change. This place is not safe. The only lock on the outside of the door is held on by two exposed screws. Anyone inside the apartment with a screwdriver can get into any "locked" room. The lock on the outer door is so bad that it got stuck and we were locked inside the hostel! I had to crawl out through a window and unlock it with a key from the outside to let the other people out. — Don't Stay Here. (2007-03-17)
