1 Poor value for money and poor service
I do not have too much experience with staying in many other German hostels. Do not stay here if you have any other choice. Both days in the morning the single toilet on our floor was blocked. The receptionists were always difficult to find. When I checked in I had to call from my mobile to get to the number of the receptionist on the notice written outside. No one answered the doorbell. When I tried to retrieve my baggage at 9 p.m. after I checked out at 11 a.m., the receptionist was out in the city. He asked me to pay the taxi to come back to the hostel which took him another hour finally leaving me three minutes to reach the rail station by taxi -- extra cost 20 euros. On the positive side I got to meet people from four diffrent nationalities.

3 I stayed in this hostel for four nights in November 2004. It is nice. Towels are only one euro, and sheets are free (any number). Breakfast items are mainly cheap. This place has a friendly staff and 24-hour reception. Beer is available and hot drinks also. A single room with a bath is 35 euros. You do have a decent walk to make into the city center, although the bar isn't a bad place to meet people.
