Do not recommend at all.
The photos of this hotel are very deceiving. We booked this hotel based on the reviews and photos, but the rooms we stayed in on levels one and two. were nothing like the photos or reviews at all. The room smelt, the beds were damp and linen all stained, the bathroom was awful (looked like it had not been cleaned in many many years). The toilet seat also fell off when I lifted it up. It is ok if you're on a budget and not after something really clean, but if you want clean -- I would not recommend this hotel at all. I could not handle it and had to leave the hotel and go elsewhere (was very happy to give up the fee already paid). The service at the counter was ok, but when asking about prices for car travel, we were quoted with one price, then charged another, much more expensive price when confirmation was made.

The location is in the central city of Hanoi, easy to go to the most places by walking, bike, even with a motorbike taxi. The staff is very friendly to help me to go around Hanoi such as Halong Bay, Sapa, and the other day tours. The prices are reasonable to stay at this guesthouse. The rooms are clean and pretty big. If you cannot find it your comfortable accommodation in Hanoi, try it!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location in the Old Quarter is fantastic, and the customer service from all the staff (especially the cute boys on the front counter!) is second to none -- nothing was too much effort for them! Easily the best hotel we've stayed in during our holiday. They made our stay in Hanoi a memorable experience. Ten thumbs up!
