The staff and service was excellent. My fellow companions and I were very new to the Irish area and we were picked up from a rendezvous point outside of town because our bus didn't go directly to the hostel. We were told a bit about the area as well as great hiking options and were dropped off to our warm and comfy beds. The little town near the hostel has two great pubs with a pool table, television, and also quieter areas to drink lots of guinness! The hike up Church Mountain was exhilarating and very beautiful. Over all the experience was amazing and our trip profited from staying in the Mountain Ventures Hostel! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. This made for an extra and unexpected treat!
