Excellent
We stayed here for two nights and it was everything we needed. Staff were super friendly, had advice on everything from where to eat (and vouchers for free beer) to day trips, to where to get a tattoo. The best hostel we stayed at in three months of travel.

The staff are very friendly, the rooms are ok and the beds and bathroom are fine, but it was a real rabbit warren.... to find my room and exit the building!! Good kitchen and common room. I enjoyed it there. You must make sure you visit theArran Islands while you're there. Stunning.

This was probably my least favorite hostel. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and I had a really hard time sleeping. They put way too many beds in the dorm room. The only thing going for the place was its location, which was really good and close to the bars. And the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very nice place, comfortable, but not really clean! It's in a great position, in a lively part of the city! We'll be back soon, we hope!

Here's the lowdown. It is noisy, but that is because you are located in the nightlife section of Galway. We were located on the top room of the hostel, so we had the furthest to walk, but we did not find it to be a problem after we checked in. The security was good, and other things like the common room and the kitchen were fine. If you want nightlife it's the place to be; if you want quiet, it's not.

It was very noisy and smelled bad. There are lots of stairs to climb to all rooms, and no lift. The showers had bad pressure and took forever to get hot. If you want to be close to the pubs and shopping, it's great. If not, then pick someplace else.

The rooms at the front of the hostel were very noisy all night, thanks to the pubs and the club directly opposite. The breakfast was poor.

Nice hostel in the centre of the city. Easy to get to, and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

The lady that cleaned the room was really mean, and rushed us out a few minutes before check out time, and I left my hairdryer. What a jerk.
