Description
Vakacio Youth Hostel Sopron is in the most beautiful historical city of Hungary. The house can be found opposite the Elisabeth Garden (Erzsébet Kert), which is the biggest and most beautiful park in Sopron.
We would like to provide accommodation to our guest - with a better quality and at a low price (Youth Hostel).
We opened the house 3 years ago. In the rooms we can accommodate (2)-6-8-10 people. In the rooms there are wall-to-wall carpet, couches and bunk beds. The showers and toilets can be found on the corridor, separate for the women, separate for the men. There is a public room in the house, where our guests can use microwave oven, fridge, or can play with the football table or watch TV.We own a parking spot that is monitored by a camera. In the house works the reception day and night.

not too far to walk into town, and to public transport hubs. Also, setting near to edge of town was very good. The staff have variable command of english and one or two are especially grumpy, but others were very helpful. we recieved a very good welcome, but a friend we were meeting there got a very different welcome.

Good location (opposite a park and a bar), very clean and friendly staff (some with English, some not). Although I booked a shared dorm, I was given a 2 bed room to myself for each of the three nights. Great value.Except for a coffee machine, microwave and fridge, there are NO kitchen facilities (i.e. no glasses or cutlery etc). Thoroughly recommended.

This hostel has two seperate buildings. One is located on the outskirts of town and is approx a 25min walk into town, although there is a bus from the bottom of the road. It was situated in nice grounds with the pine covered hills behind so it was nice and peaceful.

Quiet, green situation - in front of a park. Nice yellow house. Their knowledge of english and german should be better (young receptionist) and it would be nice to have (free) internet access...
