Liked: It was cheap. The owner was nice. The common room is nice to hang out.  Disliked: It wasn't that clean.... The shower was so powerfull that it hurts when i try to shower... Liked: The property had a great location and the roof terrace was lovely. The communal eating area is nice.  Disliked: We found the comments in the description of the hostel misleading. We were disappointed. We booked & paid for a double but on arrival found out it was a twin. The shower screen was broken, the Bed lamp was broken, The beds were home-made and the bases were too small for the mattresses meaning the mattresses hung over the edge making it very uncomfortable. The window leaked so when it rained water poured into our room wetting the bed & the floor. They said every room had a TV but ours didn't. The toilet was faulty. Overall the room was very run down. There were no staff anywhere! No-one was there to meet us when we arrived & the place was locked up, the cleaner who lived over the road let us in after we'd been standing outside for 15mins. There was very little information in the reception which meant we missed several big local events. In the whole time we we stayed there was never a staff member on duty. Overall it was a disappointing experience after all the good things we had heard. The room was small, damp and run down and the staff were absent.  — Sian Dhu (2010-09-29) Hostelbookers

Liked: Malta at it´s best! Fun & quiet, cosy & clean, a big roof terrasse with fantastic sea-view, a really nice livingromm with chill-out area -not as other "lounges" in Hostels you´ve seen, it´s more like your own couch at home. Nice people and lovely stuff,...Staying at Malta?
