Disappointed by this hostel´s mercenary attitude Decently priced at 25 pesos per night in a dorm in August. The services were ok (free internet terminal, ok amenities, free breakfast and cab ride from the coach station). But I was extremely unimpressed at being turfed out after my first night, because they accepted a block booking for our dorm, not least because I had said I wanted to stay for three nights, and offered to pay upfront. Their pay as you go system means that you continually run the risk of being kicked out if they think they can make more money renting your room out to a larger group. I also came across two women who had been kicked out of their double room because the management wanted to put another bunk bed in (again to increase profits). I would not have stayed there If I had known it would mean wasting a morning finding alternate accommodation. More hassle than it's worth. — Martin Malinowski , U.K (2008-08-16)
