Outstanding hostel with a great hostess If there were a six star rating, I would give it. Majda's is one of the best places I've stayed at. It is warm and welcoming, and Majda is very knowledgeable about Mostar. It could use another bathroom and could be easier to find, but it's such a cool place and Mostar is such a fun town that these things hardly seem to matter. — PJ , UK (2009-06-15) Excellent Majda's is a great place. But, I decided to send her an email anyway, and arrived in Mostar, relieved to find Majda was expecting me, and waiting to take me her her wonderful place. Be careful when you get off the bus, as there might be another Majda, so check to make sure by looking closely at the card they show you, and double checking the address. We arrived at the hostel, which is more like a home, and you are staying with Majda and her family (brother and mother). There is always someone here, so you do not need a key. We were greeted with coffee and cake, with beautiful roses from their garden. It was such a warm and welcoming greeting! I originally planned to stay just one night, but ended up staying for three. I would have stayed longer if I did not have my flight already booked. Rooms were very clean. Mostar is a wonderful place, as are the people. I did not think there was enough to spend more than a day, but there is plenty to see and do, or just to relax.
