This hostel which opened in 2006 is a home from home. It is a three storey house in a residential area. The hostel is run by a young American guy who decided to move to Galway.
Each guest is given a key to the front door. The ground floor consists of a living/dining area with a kitchen attached. A bookshelf with books magazine etc is available for guests to enjoy.
Breakfast of tea or coffee and toast is provided and guests are free to use to cooking facilities throughout the day.
Upstairs choice of dorm or double room is available. Dorm has 2 bunk beds and 2 single bed. A seperate bathroom is across the hall from the dorms.
The hostel is located 5 minsutes walk from Eyre's Square in a safe and well lit area.
The owner emailed me afterwards asking if there was any thing I thought could be improved with the hostel which I thought was a nice after service.
Overall I would recommend this hostel.
