Lovely place This hostel is located in one of the central streets in Pingyao. It is a beautiful old-style courtyard. I stayed in a double room in the hotel part of the complex. The room was classic, complete with a very big chinese bed stove. The bathroom was quite small, but clean. This hostel is quite cheap in comparison with youth hostels in other parts of China. The owner, Bob, speaks English very well, is very kind, and helps a lot with planning the rest of your travel (suggesting which train to take, booking tickets).
