Broadway Hostel

We just stayed there this weekend with our Gaelic football club while attending a tournament in Budapest, and the hostel was great! Very modern, very clean, staff was very flexible, helpful, and charming and made us really feel as if we were guests at their home! There was no problem with our late arrival, parkings for our team cars were provided, nobody minded us coming home late/early after the tournament party, or that we checked out a bit late on Sunday, while the cleaning lady was already waiting, no hassle! I especially like the way the dorm-rooms are built -- the dorms each host six, eight, or ten people, but in the room, they are split up into little cabins or snugs, each with a bunk bed, two lockers, individual lights, and a curtain that you can close behind you when you want to be left in peace. saves a lot nerves with late arrivers at night. Shower rooms, toilets were a bit small, but sufficient in numbers and very modern and clean. The location is quite central, near the Budapest opera, the musical theatre, and a lot of bars and restaurants. A great hostel, even for people like me who normally tend to avoid them!
