Description
Miri is located on the northern coast of Sarawak and is the gateway to the famous Mulu Caves and the rainforests of Central Sarawak. A good starting point from which the ethno-tourist can fly to the highlands of Bario and meet the friendly indigenous Kelabit and Penan tribes.
We offer a 24-bed, local-style Guest House set in 2 acres of countryside, close to the beach and just along the coast from Miri in Northern Sarawak.
We also help our guests with inland tours throughout Sarawak and Sabah, including Mulu, Niah and Bario Highlands.

very little. In addition we were assaulted by the hostel's regular taxi driver at the airport after he had wanted to charge us 30% more than the guesthouse owner had told us the fare should be! The guesthouse owner has so far refused to give us the name of the driver for the police report!!

It was in a lovely setting and a great place to laze around and do nothing. It was very quiet there but was perhaps, still early in the visitor season - just after the monsoons

Beautifully located in a small village about 20 km from Miri. A prefect place to relax. The friendly staff offers fresh food for lunch and dinner and included in the price is a light breakfast. We stayed in the longhouse which was a very nice experience and the mosquito net provided in these rooms keeps you save from being bitten during the night. It's a 20 minute walk down to the bus stop (across the road is the beach) where you can catch a bus to Miri. It runs about every 2 hours (during day time only) and it takes about 30 mins to Miri. There you can easily go to Brunei by bus (takes about 2 hours) or the Lambir National Park. The Niah Caves are not far but I'm not sure whether there's a public transport there. If you just wanna have a rest and are not looking for a big party, this is the place for you! We'll definitely come back!!

It is really one of the best lodges ever. Very nice atmosphere, and nicely located in the middle of nowhere. This nice location also causes its only disadvantage: it is quite a distance from the city of Miri, and public transport is not really a possibility. But the atmosphere of the lodge covers up largely for this one drawback. If you are aware of this before, this is the best lodge ever.

this hostel is a beautiful place with very welcoming staff. it is a little way out of miri by bus, but one of the reasons we were delighted with it was because it was much nicer than staying in miri itself.

The setting of the lodge was wonderfully natural, and everything was built really eco-friendly. The owner and staff were great, not hesitant in offering useful travel advice.
