Located in an authentic historical building, the place is safe, clean and fosters an overwhelmingly enthusiastic environment with its young hip staff. Its great location enables its guests to travel with great ease to not only its historical sites, but to the young and crazy nightlife that Florence has to offer.
The staff will be more than happy to point out the historical locations by providing a map and give you discounts for the surrounding discotheques and pub-crawls.
The staff is capable of speaking not only Italian, but also Spanish and English as well.
If you wish to eat at a restaurant, have a drink at one of the many pubs’ close by or even spend a night clubbing, our receptionist will be more than happy to point them out to you on our complimentary maps. ISH Florence is a good place for meet many other travellers coming from all over the world.

It is necessary to have a mobile phone if you preview a FAST CHECK - IN (possibility to do check - in during 24 hours). In this case just call us when you arrive and we'll give you the code for enter. In any case at the moment of your booking please indicate your arrival time and remember that the reception should be made aware of any change in your schedule.

Very close to S.M Novella Station and easy access to most of the touristic spots. There are lots of places to eat and shop around. 3 minutes walking from tourist information centres. The bedroom is ample.

situated really near the SMN train station, just a few minutes' walk away from the mercato centrale and duomo - great! the owner also let us keep our luggage for free even though there was a stated charge. loved the free internet =)

Within walking distance of Firenze SMN station. The hostel is value for money, it has a kitchen, and it isn't too big so it does offer some privacy compared to bigger-scale hostels.
Beds and toilets are good and clean.

I booked a private room with toilet but the toilet is outside of my room, the key can open all the doors in the hostel that is very unsafe!!! the staff is very not polite and unhelpful!

The location was great, close to the station, shops (with cheap food), restaurants and tourist attractions. Just round the corner there's a place called Caffe Degal' Innocenti where you get the cheapest but very nice food in Florence (e.g. I paid 4.50 euros for a generous plate of salad, and got a lovely breadroll free; they also have a happy hr from 6pm to 9pm, pay 6 euros for a drink and eat for free!) The hostel was clean, quiet and welcoming. The receptionist was very helpful and kind to me- I could leave my luggage and use facilities after the check out, as he gave me spare keys. I met very lovely and friendly people there, from Columbia, Brazil, Argentina, and other countries. The next night I spent in a hostel Venice where I had the worst experience ever. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Florence and was happy with the hostel.

The man who checked us in was amazing. He was so nice and personally walked us over to a restaurant. The only weird thing was there was no one there to check us out in the morning, which meant we couldn't get a map, directions or recommendations. We had a room that was in another building down the street so we couldn't even get back into the main building the next morning.
You're not allowed to leave your bags there. You can leave them at the train station, which is very close. It's four euros minimum for five hours plus an additional 60 cents for every extra hour.

we were three peoples. two got a comfortable bed the other one a very saggy folding bed. the room got a nice flair. the shower was a littel bit to small, but ok

This place was clean and safe and quiet, and had a kitchen and laundry services. However, the staff is not young and hip, there is an older man who happens to live in this hostel. It looks like someone's house that is undergoing renovations to accommodate travellers. No maps were provided. The directions provided to us were wrong, and we got lost on the way.
