Kenmare Lodge Hostel

Very good hostel, very clean, the double room was exactly like a hotel room, with TV, en suite, etc. Good facilities including kitchen, etc. Use the kitchen because the restaurants in town are the most expensive in Ireland. (We thought they were more expensive than Killarney.)

This was a great place to stay, although it's a little hard to find. The map we had didn't actually show this hostel, and none of the locals seemed know there was a second hostel in the town. It was all a little confusing when we arrived, as they were extending the building, no one was answering the doorbell and unless you know the code you can't get in. It had lovely hot showers and a trendy dining room. The staff were great.
