Description
We are a year-round hostel in Estes Park, Colorado at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, RMNP. We are located in a renovated 1912 building downtown on Cleave St. It is behind the waterwheel at the west end of town and on the river walk. The RMNP free shuttle and the local shuttle stop is across the street so you do not have to drive (in summer) to get around. The closets airport is Denver International Airport and the shuttle will bring you to the hostel. If you plan ahead you may rent a car at the airport or in town.
The atmosphere at the hostel is very casual with lots of mountaineer and explorer types to share your hiking plans and or your successful day. If you prefer privacy-rent one of our private rooms and come and go as you please. We invite everyone including groups, families, pets, and all ages are welcome!
We do have two kitchens, one kitchenette, barbeque and an area for outdoor eating.

The Rocky Mountain Natinal Park and Shopping Shuttles are across the street and free. Our street runs parallel to the main street which is Elkhorn Ave. We have free parking lots at either end of the short Cleave Street. Did not feel comfortable I can see how this hostel could be nice, but at the moments it is too dirty and I did not feel comfortable there. The location is good. When I stayed they were expecting a new manager to come in the next few days so my recommendation is to check the place out but be prepared to move to one of the many motels nearby. — K.
