5 Better than it cost!
I spend few days in this wonderful hostel in Arbat recommended by some friends. The location couldn't be better, the team were great and helpful. The bathroom is brand new and this hostel got a style that brings you to the Tsar time, it seems you go to sleep to the Hermitage. I recommend it to any of you -- really safe and real russian character. Enjoy!

4 Very accommodating and convenient location!
This hostel is a great location near all of the bars and walking distance to red square. The staff are really helpful and very friendly, I highly recommend home from home.

1 The worst ever
Aware! Not women and girls, stay off! Home from Home is not a hostel but a narrow, badly-arranged flat, unsafe for staying at. It doesn't even have a reception -- it is located in the kitchen just after the entrance door. Unsafe. The rooms can't be locked from inside -- the doors just have no locks; the hostel hosts stag-parties and drinks-up together with lots of men; men strangers pop and look in the rooms in the night; there is no anyone present of the staff from the night till the late morning, when you find the entrance door wide open and all the place with light switched-off. The owner of the flat who runs the hostel, Olga Nedorezova, is avoiding and hiding from the clients -- she can only be reached by phone. You never receive a receipt or a cheque when you pay for the services. The staff is unable to solve these problems, as they are unexperienced and skilless. So-called breakfast included in price is nothing but leftovers. The offered services are not worth the price. There were papers and trash under my bed from a two-weeks-time (I saw by the flight coupon). So-called Home from Home hostel is a shame for tourism industry of Moscow and Russia. We were endangered of a rape there and couldn't bear more than a night there. After us canceling five nights and leaving, O. Nedorezova refused to pay back our money and to send us back our belongings. So, to be mocked, robbed, and to feel extremely endangered, this is the place. It could be ok for a young man or a group of men, I guess, but the arbitrariness of the place and stuff will affect every visitor, I believe.

5 Me, my girlfriend, and a friend of ours visited this hostel in mid october 2006. When we got there, the only people who were there were other guests, which describes the excellent "aura" of this place. They showed us to our beds, and told us a bit of the place. The stay at Hostel Home From Home was a complete success, and it's close to everything! And add to that, this is probably the cheapest stay you can find in Moscow! I'm currently planning another trip to Moscow, and guess where i'll be staying?
