This was more of an apartment block rather than a hostel. The spotlessly clean room was comfortable with a private bathroom and air con. The friendly owner spoke very good English and gave us some good suggestions as to what to see and do in Bangkok. He also helped us with arranging taxis and made sure they used the meter. The location was a bit out of town and more of a place where people live rather than a tourist area. We tried out one of the nearby places to eat which was a buffet where you cook up your own food. We were the only two tourists and we hadn't a clue what to do but it made it a funny night out. To get into Bangkok you need to take a taxi to either the subway or the skytrain which cost 80 to 100B and then get the train into town. I would say it takes thirty to forty-five minutes to get into town depending on where you are going.
