Luxurious and safe
As soon as I walked in the main door the owner came to help me with my bags. She was also very helpful in setting up a fun walking tour of Cancun Centro during the afternoon. This place has a beautiful garden, a upper deck with a great view, great kitchen facilities, free internet, spacious shower/bathroom and is conveniently located in Cancun Centro a seven-minute walk from the bus station. Each dorm bed gets a spacious locker to store personal belongings. Cancun not being one of my favorite cities, I only spent one night there, but regardless of the length of your stay, make yourself a favor and stay at Hostel Quetzal if you pass through the city and not planning to go to the beach, you will feel as much at home as in a regular, high-priced hotel.
