Feel at home!
This is one of the only hostel's i've been to which makes you feel at home! The staff is just so friendly and helpful! and trustworthy too, everyone there speaks sufficient english and do not hesitate to go out of their way to help you for everything required without expecting you to reward them in anyway, they just do it as a part of humanity! The people and the staff are great! You just need to get to know them better! The private rooms are clean and well taken care of, they have regular staff working both shifts who are available for your assistance, i have a lot of memories associated with this place and i would recommend anyone traveling to Beijing in china to try this hostel out! i bet they'd have a great experience. It's close to the Bus station or the Tram station, and just a stone's throw away from the railway station subway, everything is just close and nearby, the market too! They can also help you to get genuine cab/taxi to reach other places or the airport. You just need to be polite and cooperative with the hostel staff and they would be your friends! I'm looking forward to visiting them again!

Not bad with the guy at the front desk
I like this place just because of the boy sitting in the front desk who can speak fluent English. My heart will be with him forever!

The hostel's location is great -- near Drum&Bell Tower and hutong areas. Easy to find, direct bus to Temple of Heaven, close to Beihai Park. It has discounts in winter -- we paid 100RMB/per double room (without bathroom). Rooms are clean and air-conditioned. The staff speaks basic English and very helpful. We didn't order by Internet, we phoned directly.

Very nice place to stay. We stayed for three nights and if we had found it sooner we would have spent our entire Beijing stay here. It's clean, safe, friendly, and close to subway. It's within walking distance to parks and greenspace. Reasonably priced.
