WORST HOSTEL EVER......this is not a hostel for
backpackers/travellers but local Bulgarian people.
I recently stayed at this hostel (unfortunately!!) and wanted to warn other people from making the same mistake.
The staff are very RUDE and UNHELPFUL.
Everything you read about this hostel on the internet is LIES.
There is NO reception at all, but they advertise 24 hour reception.
They have a notice on the door telling you to call them and they
come from home or wherever to let you in.
There is NO internet access, although they advertise free internet
access. They dont even have a computer.
There is NO free breakfast, but advertise that there is.
There is NO telephone facilities.....I asked them if they could
book a taxi for me for 0400 and they told me to go wait on the main
street for a taxi.
I booked a 3 bed dorm and was put in a 7 bed dorm, when I asked to
be put in the 3 bed dorm I was told there was none.
The shower is in the toilet....yes in the toilet, you literally
stand over the loo to have a shower.
Not once in the three days I stayed there was the hostel cleaned.
The kitchen consists of a manky 2 burner cooker, that if you do decide to use they dont actually have any pots or pans to cook with. There is a small, dirty bar fridge that I wouldn't trust putting food into.
This is not a fun, happy place to stay like they adverise.
DO NOT STAY HERE there are so many other places to choose from in
Sofia that actually offer what they advertise.
Oh and they charge foriengers 4 times what they change the locals.
