The Hostelz.com Review
There is an inside common area with tables and a TV and outside sitting areas on the porch and side yard. The rooms are average but the bathrooms are poor. The guests are mostly French and the staff only speaks a little English. The location is about 5 minutes walking distance the center of town and about 5 minutes from the train station.

Hostelz.com Guest Reviews
1  Very bad attitude from staff Hostel isn't the worst I've seen, definitely not the best either. The bathrooms are new. The furniture in the rooms too, but 7 beds in a small room -- hope you like to live close to each other. If you keep the window closed, you die. If you keep it open, you can't sleep because of highway noise coming from just down the window. And most of all, I really didn't like the attitude of the staff! "I work here, I can say what I what and do what I want and if you're not happy you can just leave" Jeeeeez. who those people think they are, we still pay f***ing 17 euros to stay there!  , Italy ()
2  Expensive for what it is This is a very simple hostel for the price you pay (we paid more because we didn't have YHA, so more like €16 to 18). The beds aren't particularly comfortable and for the same price or less you can stay in a cheap hotel closer to town where you can have better beds and a better en-suite. It wasn't particularly social since there weren't many people there. Also, the staff weren't incredibly helpful, so we couldn't just leave our luggage at the office when we wanted to leave around noon because the staff weren't going to be there until after 5 p.m.  , Australian ()
4  We have just visited (June 2006) and this hostel is not as bad as the reviews make out. It has new bathrooms, and friendly staff who speak very good english. It has a small kitchen in an outbuilding and plenty of tables and chairs inside and out. It does back onto a main road but doesn't deserve bad reviews because of this, and i'd happily go back.  ()
2  This hostel was one of the worst we stayed in over our 7-week travels, although we usually camped. It was generally used for people breaking up the journey on the way to Barcelona, which was our purpose too. It was a very dark hostel, which made it slightly creepy. It also backed onto a very busy dual carriageway, which made sleeping tricky, especially due to the lack of air-conditioning. The only toilets were the ones where you have to squat, which I didn't really like, and the girls' bathroom door had no lock, which was slightly dodgy. The guy at reception was very friendly, spoke English really well, and was funny, which made it better.  ()
3  This is a good hostel that's spoiled by people using it as a cheap accommodation and going out night-clubbing, arriving back at 4 a.m. and making a lot of noise.  ()
3  Not a bad place. I didn't stay long, so am not too sure, but it seemed nice and the staff were friendly.  ()
4  I'll be the first to put my opinion in, even though I was here so long ago (in 1986, my first trip outside the U.S.). I still have photos from this hostel. It had open space around it, which made it like a villa. It was nice place to socialize, and had good weather.  ()
