Although located in noisy and crowded Chunking Mansion, the hostel itself is all right. Not that expensive for the place, very well located, staff friendly, and place not so dirty. You can go there without trouble.

For the price and location the place is excellent value for money, for what is essentially a safe place to stay without the frills and ridiculous hotel prices there isn't much you could really ask for. One thing I loved is that it is on the third floor which basically means it is the first stop on the elevator and if you cant be bothered waiting there is always the crafty side exit with the stairs therefore you can get in and out quickly unlike most of the other hostels that seem to be on higher floors. The location is fantastic as directly in front of the building is the Tim Sha Tui MTR and bus stops all around plus you can get KCR east rail from there too, so you can get to places like mong kok really quickly. I had twin en-suite bath room I shared with friend, it was clean, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was the same. There was TV and air con there too which all did their job -- nothing fancy but what do you expect. The staff there are really friendly and always willing to help you with a problem especially peter who manages the place. I would definitely use it again in the future.
