Great value for the money. It is a little cool at night, but nice wool blankets were provided. The pay showers were a little unexpected. We have little kids and they loved it, the noise wasn't an issue.

A great value for money place, was very quiet when i stayed but then so was the whole resort. It is very basic in its failities but very comfortable and the staff are all very friendly. I have stayed here on a number of occasions before and would not hesitate to do so again or recomend it to others

This facility is definately on the camping side of the scale. We booked a room with shared bathroom. The heating was definately not adequate, and the room was extremely cold all the time. The bathrooms were nearly the same temperature as outside. Warm water was always readily available, though. To use the kitchen requires 2 euro/minute for use of the burners...barely enough time to make a quick meal. Ten minutes walk to Lauterbrunnen station and 45 mins to Trummelbach falls provided an excellent location. Isabel was friendly and helpful.

I liked that there was a girls bathroom and a guys bathroom. Other than that, our stay was pretty terrible. The manager was completely rude to us and was not helpful at all. We froze to death at night because we had only one small blanket to use. I would not recommend this hostel to any backpackers traveling through Switzerland.

We booked several weeks in advance but close to the time of arrival we could not get any response from them to confirm the booking. We rang several times and sent a couple of emails and no response. Naturally we proceeded anyway. We arrived at 9:30 pm well in advance of the 11pm deadline but recption was closed, luckily there was some staff in the bar that helped to us to get a room but they were clueless as to anybody arriving late or checkin people in and appeared like they never check people in. I felt we were lucky we got a room. That was fine but the following day there was no explanation why they didnt respond to emails or calls - like as if "it was not their problem but ours!. Over all it was clean! and well located + a bar! but not that friendly

It was great for the money, cool bar where we ran into other people from the states... the area itself is not crazy social wise, but definitely recommend it.
