Hostal GuateFriend’s Bed & Breakfast, is only one minute drive from La Aurora International Airport. Airport transportation to and from is included in your stay with us!
GuateFriends is a perfect example of traditional Guatemalan ambiance coupled with modern Guatemala style, excellent foods and unparalleled customer service. Our Bed and Breakfast is family owned and located in one of the safest areas of Guatemala City.
Our rooms are comfortable and welcoming. We offer four options according to your personal preferences: single, double, triple, and shared rooms. While our guest, your stay will include the comforts of home with hot water (we always have hot water!!!), personal towels and linens changed daily. We also offer an array of toiletries including hand made organic soaps and Bath & Body Works Products.
Breakfast of your choosing is included. Exquisite Lunch, dinner, and late night snacks are also offered.
GuateFriend's hands-down, has the best organic & imported foods around the world and we make everything from scratch here at our B&B. (We even make our own bread and butter.) We also provide Lunch and dinner which is unheard of at B&B's/hostales in Guatemala. Breakfast is included and is provided from 3AM - 10AM. Gourmet organic teas, and organic coffee are served throughout the day.
GuateFriend's also gives travel advice and can book reservations for travel for our guests and cell phone rentals while you travel throughout Guatemala.
Free and unlimited wireless or PC internet.
We also work only with INGUAT (Guatemala's National Tourism Bureau) approved private tour companies that will pick you up from GuateFriends B&B and bring you back when the tour is over. (Some of the tours include day excursions to the volcanoes, and the cities of Panajachel, San Pedro, La Antigua, and Chichicastenango. Tours are also available to the Mayan Ruins at Tikal, Peten, Coban, Quetzaltenango, Monterrico, Retaluleu and many other exciting destinations.)

very good hostel in a very safe location near the airport. Joe and Ana made our stay very welocming. The dinners and breakfast made by Joe was amazing and delicious. The atmosphere in the hostel was very good and they made our stay worth while. We stayed 3 nights and would like to stay longer. Would def recc this hostel and when you do stay here, say the Irish, Greek & English amigos recc this hostel. The beds were so comfortable and clean with really good showering facilities.

Guatefriend's is a great place to stay!! They offer a free shuttle service to and from the Airport. Guatefriend's is not far from the Airport, once we landed it was within a few mins they came and picked us up...Ana and Joe are very nice and friendly and they gave us some suggestions on places to go and visit while we were in Guatemala. They also helped us to book transportation to travel to our next city. Joe is an excellent cook!! You have to stay and have supper while you're there. The rooms are clean and nice and have hot water. If you're looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend to stay at Guatefriend's. Its a friendly and family environment...We would definately stay here again!!
