You could relax all day by the pool and soak in our sweet Fiji sunshine and enjoy breathtaking mountain views from Fiji's highest salt water swimming pool OR go for a solo hike like Paul. He left at 9am with packed lunch and was back 5pm sweaty, sticky, muddy, totally energised, loved it, covered in scratches, said he will do it again...and by 5.05pm thirsty as hell with Fiji Bitter in hand looked back up the sleeping giants and said "see ya in 2010"!!
We have mountain bikes though we recommend a ride in our local open bus up through Indian settlements and Fijian villages, pass sugar cane fields, beautiful country scenery, even on a rainy day the views are stunning. On the local bus up to Nagado village is 2km for 70cents - take a walk into the rainforest, swim in fresh mountain streams. Visit the Garden of the Sleeping Giants [$13.00 per person] 40minute easy flat walk from Stoney Creek and stop over on the way back at the Sabeto Hot Springs [$10.00 per person] 20 minutes before Stoney Creek. Our tour desk has postcards, phone cards, island and day activity brochures, good advise on shopping, eateries, coffee & cocktail bars, massage parlours.
Stoney Creek is home to healthy and friendly cats and dogs. Our lush, tropical surroundings invites many native birds, dragon flies, froggies, house lizards, ants, and mosquitoes - you're in the tropics welcome to our home please don't forget to bring your insect repellent.
Daily Breakfast of continental and tropical is inclusive on all accommodation category. Otherwise, you may place your order for delicious real hash browns the best in Fiji from our $2.20 Menu. Lunch and Dinner are served a la carte daily. All our meals are cooked fresh, full of variety, garlic and herbs, Fijian and Indian, Chinese to Mexican. Home baked pies to Fijian dumplings for breakfast. Assortment of jams for breakfast only served on wholemeal bread. Our chef and staff can accommodate your special food requirements.
Our staff can also book your island day trips and make guided recommendations, we also take waterfall, plantation and village tours, with packed picnic lunch catch the local bus and enjoy the mountain day.
