The pictures shown are NOT the hostel. The windsurfing isn't anywhere near the hostel. The hostel is in a poor, dirty part of town. The former owner Charles ruined the hostel with his bad chauvinist attitude and explosive temper. Better to stay in a guesthouse in Kihei or Paia. — Anonymous (2005-05-08) The former owner Charles was a drunk, belligerent and abusive. Stay away from this hostel. Women do not go here. — Anonymous (2005-04-12) I stayed here in 2003. Charles Egwuatu was the owner but I did not find him to be rude. In fact, everybody in the hostel felt he was too nice.
