• Our center is about a 1-hour drive from the Hilo International Airport (ITO) and a 2.5. an hour's drive from the Kona International Airport (KOA).
• From Hilo International Airport: Upon exiting the airport, head east on Airport Rd. Continue straight onto Kanoelehua Ave. Follow Kanoelehua Ave for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Kamehameha Ave and continue for about 9 miles. Merge onto Highway 11 (Hawaii Belt Rd) and drive south for approximately 18 miles. Take a left onto Highway 130 (Keaau-Pahoa Bypass Rd). Follow Highway 130 for approximately 18 miles until you reach Pahoa. Take a right onto Highway 137 (Kalapana-Kapoho Rd) and drive for approximately 4 miles. You will reach Kalani Retreat Center on your left at 12-6860 Kalapana Kapoho Beach Rd.
• From Kona International Airport: Upon leaving the airport, head south on Keahole Airport Rd. Take a slight left to merge onto Highway 19 (Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy) and continue driving south. Follow Highway 19 for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 190. Take a right onto Highway 190 (Palani Rd) and continue eastward for approximately 12 miles. At the junction with Highway 11, turn left and head south on Hawaii Belt Rd. Continue on Highway 11 for approximately 73 miles, passing through towns such as Waimea and Hilo. In Keaau, take a right onto Highway 130 (Keaau-Pahoa Bypass Rd). Follow Highway 130 for approximately 18 miles until you reach Pahoa. Take a right onto Highway 137 (Kalapana-Kapoho Rd) and drive for approximately 4 miles. Kalani Retreat Center will be on your left at 12-6860 Kalapana Kapoho Beach Rd.
